YouTube's lack of support for creators is frustrating as hell. I actually have gotten in contact with a partner manager (they have a program where you get access to one for a 6 month window), but when I tried to bring up a channel issue I had, they told me that their role was only to give advice on ways to grow the channel (that advice being: make shorts), so it is kind of a useless initiative by them.

Really appreciate this video, one of my biggest fears with growing a channel is having my account hacked and not being able to do anything about it. When my Steam account was hacked, I went to the built-in support page, let them know of the situation and I woke up the next morning to a message saying something like "We can see the account has been compromised. Here's a link to reset the password" and all was well.

The hacker was holding my account hostage and threatening to delete it entirely if I didn't send them money. The entire issue was solved by one look from the Steam support team.

It actually can be that easy, YouTube just do not care.

I found you from the Bannerlord video and then realized I had a lot in common with your gaming interests, and have just been binging, and even this “boring” video explanation video has hilarious little edits, great comedic timing, and is genuinely out to help other people struggling with their accounts… while at the same time being transparent with why it happened and what you’ve learned!
