To bleach I used Salon Care PrismLites in Blue and their 30 vol creme developer
I made little pearl hair accessories while I waited for the bleach and dye to set this time
I used E6000 glue to attach pearls and beads to bobby pins

ive always wanted a septum piercing and my mom said she would kick me out if i got one and eventually she just kicked me out because we would argue so much. a few months into living with my dad my stepsister took me to get my septum pierced. when my mom saw it she lightheartedly freaked out like in a joking manner and she actually said it wasnt as bad as she thought it would be. i still love my mom with all my heart we're just both difficult people and im still a teenager who is figuring out how to communicate my extreme emotions
edit: i was 18 when she kicked me out, i would appreciate it if you guys kept the comments about my mom being awful or crazy to yourselves. you do NOT know what i put my poor mom through. yes i was just a teenager but that doesnt mean it didnt hurt her and make her physically ill. just because i was a teenager doesnt mean it didnt hurt her. ive hit her, spat on her, kicked her, shes gotten shingles and bells palsy from me (bells palsy is when half of your face is PARALYZED). of course there are so many cases where people dont deserve to get kicked out, but i did. either way im back now after 8 months and i learned my lesson. i love her and i wish i just knew how to properly communicate my emotions earlier. i wish i put my anger behind earlier. my mom has and still does so much for me, she went to nursing school when i was 9 and my brother was about 11, she was working and raising us by herself. if her kids were cold she would essentially burn herself just to keep us warm. she took me to so many therapists and mental wards while my dad didnt do anything. she drove us an hour and back to school and home because we had to live in a poorer neighborhood and she didnt want us to have to make new friends and start all over. she dealt with me arguing every morning. she dealt with seeing her youngest daughter in the ER with wounds all over her body because she didnt want to live anymore. we dealt with almost being homeless. so stop calling my mother crazy and saying i shouldn't talk to her. i would do anything for her. you dont even know the half of it. shes a human too, and theres only so much someone can take, and even when i was kicked out she still helped me financially. we still talked daily. when things were tense in that household she took me out of the house for the day. when my stepmom almost put her hands on me, she took me home immediately and i never looked back.
edit:i know i sucked but stop calling me crazy too, those comments are why troubled teens dont talk to therapists and dont get help or talk about the bad actions they do. yes i did bad stuff i know i did but we've both moved on and gotten better. i finally have a job now and it pays good. i was able to get a job right after i quit my first one because the work environment was toxic. things are better now. if you think what i did is bad, if you see a kid acting like how i did maybe instead of lecturing them, maybe get them some help or someone to talk to. because they're definitely going through something they cant understand or handle

My sister pierced her belly button with a safety pin, it was super crooked, and wound up getting a horrible infection. Don't do piercings yourself, don't let friends do them, just wait and go to a professional with good reviews. And do not get your ears pierced at clairs, go to an actual piercer please, those piercing guns they use can do a lot of damage to your ear.

Conch piercings are hard to heal under the best circumstances bc of the thick cartilage there and how often they get jostled (sleeping, doing your hair)... they're prone to keloids and infection. Mine was done in a reputable piercing studio and it still never healed right

"When I was 17 and still unable to get piercings without parental permission" bro you could've just waited 1 year (or less depending on what month that was). Your health is way more important than just some piercing and you're incredibly lucky it didn't turn out worse, I've heard so many horror stories of people almost dying because of an unsanitary piercing in an unlicensed place. That includes piercing yourself too, not only is it dangerous and unsanitary but you can't even see properly where it's suppsoed to go and I'm sure there's a whole ton of more reasons as to why it's bad not to go to a specialist. This is coming from someone who has 7 piercings (had 9 but had to take those two out) so like I'm very much for getting piercings SAFELY. Yeah waiting sucks but I myself waited until I was 18 because my patents wouldn't sign off on me getting piercings and I'm very glad I did so I could avoid all those risks and have nice, well placed and even, piercings.

Tldr: Your health is more important than getting piercings from a non-professional, wait until you can go to a proper piercing clinic

In middle school my mom promised me she’d let me get my septum pierced because she had a friend she trusted, a year later nothing, so one day while she and my dad were on a trip, I had a piercing kit I bought on Amazon (dunked everything in alcohol incase it wasn’t sterilized) and I watched a few videos before I stabbed a hole in my nose, I hid it from her for a few weeks before finally showing her, she was worried it was gonna get infected, even though I took hella care of it, I sprayed saline on that shit every day. What makes it funnier is she took me to the shop and the dude said it was slightly crooked, but not bad. She proceeded to get a piercing, a piercing she didn’t take care of (to give credit, it’s because she was in the hospital, but still, I’m holding that one), that got infected.

people really do not understand that a piercing or tattoo (any body mod tbh) done wrong can come with the consequences of death. if you start off with dirty jewelry and dirty needles and proceed to not take care of it there is a high chance of infection. infections can be deadly.

i’m begging every impulsive person out there, go to a professional, do research on said professional, make sure you’re going to a reputable piercer and use titanium jewelry. if you cannot afford that, you cannot afford body mods. you can wait four or five extra paychecks to save up for a good piercing. if you can’t save up at all, your priorities should not be intentional wounds with the possibility of infection.

remember they are a luxury not a necessity.
