You're going to have a hell of a job keeping that fridge clean without a drain.

The fridge is better than factory built!
If all people built DIY like you there would be no factory built!

This boat is no longer a Warrior 38. You'll have to re brand the make and model. A "Spiffy 38" sounds appropriate.

Magic ice that doesn’t melt. I can’t wait to see this.

I really admire you for all your hardwork; and also I admire you because you asked a naval engineer where to put reinforcements ;-)

Only Mads could make watching paint dry interesting.

The fridge looks great! If you are not happy with the opening you have look at a regular chest freezer. They open like a door. That to me would be better than the little holes they normally put on a boat.
You work is superior! Great job

I could never tell you how to do all the great projects you’ve done so far till now. I’m a refrigeration tech and I can tell you don’t use any plastic to hold the refrigerator seals to the door. On refrigerators they use a aluminum strip that has a rib on one side to keep it from working loose with stainless screws. You can take these strips and screws off an old refrigerator that’s being thrown away and keep the screws you take out and use them. Will cut down on your price some.maybe you can find an old refig to strip them out of. You can cut them to fit. Having that rib in the aluminum is important so try not to go with just a flat piece of plastic. Great video Mads love watching and learning a lot of DIY take care 👍👍

Madds, I can't believe I'm offering YOU a tip... Epoxy finishing, while wet, directly after applied you can "torch" lightly (low heat and very quick strokes) this eliminates nasty bubbles. I know I'm too late but, I thought I would offer the tip.

They will look great, I used the 3 coats of epoxy, wet sanded with 600 until the surface was flat then put 3 coats of schooner gold varnish on top around the inside of my fishing boat wheelhouse and two years on it still looks great and it gets a fair bit of sunshine and traffic

Mads - First time adding comments as I normally watch on TV and no way to leave comments. Have you thought about venting your cabinets? Most boats have some type of ventilation holes in the front. It is not too late for you. Look how Bavaria works it into theirs. Older boats usually have louvers. Good luck and I can't wait until I actually see Athena sail!

I used exactly the same methode to varnish my self-built mahogany boat. Beautiful. I find that it is absolutely important to sand between the Epifrane coats. Before the last coat I sanded and polished to 1000grid and then applied the varnish. Next time I'd use the Epifrane 1k-urethane on the Epoxy. I find that the 2k tends to run out less smoothly and leave ever so slight brush marks

A drainer in your fridge/ice box always comes in handy....

You can also flame the surface of the resin while wet to draw out the air bubbles. Light Wiff with a lazy flame and it pulls all the bubbles out.

The only video that I look forward to each week...

A quick scoot over the drying epoxy with a heat gun would take out most bubbles and voids. :¬)
