I just bought a 2024 Venza XLE yesterday. Nice mid-sized SUV, with Lexus-like luxury from Toyota. Really nice! I traded my RAV4 XSE for it. I loved the RAV4, but wanted something a little more up style. I didn't want to pay Lexus money, so the Venza was a perfect fit.

Venza is based on the RAV4, not the Highlander. Same wheelbase as the RAV4, and actually smaller inside.

Test drove the Venza over the weekend. The car is very loud in the highway.

Yes.. The Venza is discontinued.. I think its a great vehicle.. but it has one MAJOR problem.. A way too low roofline and this causes some big time problems... Lack of interior room, poor passenger comfort (a very "closed in" or cramped feeling by driver and passengers), terrible outward visibility in all directions, and, again, the poor outward visibility causes safety problems since you can't see out very well. All these problems with the Venza could have been fixed if Toyota would have just raised the roof by about 3" or 4" inches. I know that would hurt MPG some, but I would much rather have the better comfort, better outward visibility, and better driving enjoyment that a higher roof would have provided. Other than the low roof - everything else was very good on the Venza..
