I’ve been looking at reviews of this. You can buy different sized kegs for it. You can get a small one and one that’s the same size as standard but more angled.

What I would like to know is the price justified over the Ottawa and optimal kayaks?

You can also use Sea Eagle's inflatable Deluxe seats with the EZ-Lite too. These are my favorite seats and although I have several different seats from them on my various Sea Eagle kayaks.

I also use the inflatable Deluxe seats on my Razorlite though not designed to be used on that model because the center of gravity would be off a bit. The trick is, half deflatate it. I prefer sitting on air. Very comfortable. These seats are light, and pack small too.

The EZ-Lite looks like a good choice to me. There are some things I prefer about my Razorite though. It's almost 3 feet longer, so the speed is no doubt faster. Has more storage room and an extra air chamber for safety. At 3 feet shorter and smaller over all, I'd think the EZ-Lite would be faster for me to towel dry and be faster and easier to stuff in the back pack. The biggest pro of the EZ-Lite is it's 26 lbs vs 26. Also costs $100 less than Razorlite. And for people that can't balance well in a kayak, the EZ-Lite is more stable, but I'm just fine with the stability of the Razorlite. Both inflate incredibly fast, so minimal difference on setup time, but carrying the EZ-Lite to the water definately easier, but performance would be better on the Razorlite.

The V-shaped hull is the next big thing for inflatable kayaks.
I've got an X500 tandem and a Seashine and they are amazing with wind and side waves, they rock way less than flat bottom dropstitch kayaks like the Story or the Jbay.
This Ezlite is quite interesting, too bad there's not a tandem version so far.

How does it compare to your Chelan 140? Is the v shaped hull tracking better? How about speed? Thanks!!

Great review! Seems like this could be the best 10 foot kayak out there, besting even most hard shells. The foot rests are awesome. Do you have any thoughts on how it would do with incidental contact with oyster beds? And can we convince you do a self-rescue attempt when things warm up? 😀
