iStem™ is the first and only "stem cauliflower" in the world. iStem™ is suitable for convenience and home preparation, raw or cooked. It's recommended to also eat the stem, which gives a sweet nutty taste and is high in fiber and immune boosting vitamin C. Being edible from tip to toe prevents food waste in the kitchen.
iStem is a special kind of cauliflower genetic that develops side shoots. These, we harvest as iStem - a 13cm green stem, some leaves and a 4cm white curd.
It gives consumers the possibility to use as many stems per meal as needed, based on the size of their dinner party. iStem™ is a blank canvas for cooking. Simply steamed, oven roasted until charred or stir fried. Consumers can impress friends and family with innovative cooking, without food loss in the kitchen.
