Isobel, Agate, Satinette and Theo are mutations’ derived from the cross breeding between a finch with a canary, resulting in the offspring being “split” or “carriers” for these colour mutations. Colour Canary x Gloster Canary, no matter how close to visual type this breed has advanced, any offspring genetically cannot, ever, be classed as a pure breed Gloster; as such, to my mind it’s illicit to deem them Glosters. These crossbreed canaries need to have their own breed identity, not simply latching on to an existing breed as a close relation.
