I listen to this song every night knowing my husband will never come back to me. He died in March from cancer. He was a Vietnam vet and his doctors said the Agent Orange probably caused his cancer, but I'm so proud of him for serving our country.

She had a boyfriend that would pick her up in a beautiful dark blue 💙 1958 Chevrolet Impala with blue and white interior. So I was 8 yrs. then and in tune to all these classics. This is the one song that I can remember my grandma having a party in her home surrounded by family on new years with everyone wearing a 2000 headband gripping her sister (my big tia) and the microphone singing so proudly with grace and love in her heart, home and in the way shoe sang. Love at first sight for me as a elementary school student watching the Chantels on Bandstand back in 1958. Such a great song.
