A while back now I bought my kids a NQD jet boat each. They were fast enough for kid but I had other ideas as soon as they got bored.
The time came.
I cut the hatch, gutted them, refitted them with 39000kv on 3s. The kids gained interest. Daughter said, "way to go dad". They race boats on their own now.
I'm thinking of the Proboat now. Thanks for showing us all 'B'.

After seeing the video yesterday on the jet boat, i just had to pull the trigger on buying one off ebay since it sold out everywhere real quick. I have to go find some bodies of water and get it running when it arrives!

Horizon and Proboat were cool enough to start making them with the SLT3 Transmitter.
Just got mine today and it’s awesome

Do you have a link to the green prop you were using on the Recoil? I'm only running mine on 3s and from what I saw the boat rips with that prop :) I'm new to RC boating.

Alright Big B, i watched a previous video you done on strengthening the pro boat ul 19 with carbon fiber and resin.

Can the carbon fiber and resin be applied in the same way to the proboat sonicwake hull to strengthen the seam? Tha sonicwake hull is some sort of abs plastic. Thanks

In the spirit of tinkering and tuning, it would be cool to fab some trim tabs that retract and spring back in place after an impact with the ramp or rocks. Probably a dumb idea, but I can't help but think that turn fins would prevent or at least limit the boat from spinning out so easily while cornering hard. I installed trim tabs and turn fins on my brushless "Tear Into" jet boat and it made the boat much more stable and easier to drive fast in my pool. I'm really thinking of ordering one of these Jetstream boats purely for the fact that it looks so cool and scale. Looking forward to seeing you give this boat the Ironclad treatment. Cheers!

Hey Big B I know your from the Carolinas. Im also. Hit me up man where you actually from I'm from SC I swear I recognize some of your places you film at but I'm not 100% if I'm right. I been a fan since way back. Would be cool to hang out and run some RCs I live on the water have plenty of areas that are prime spots. I also have avprivate pond that about an acre, acre and half that's spring feed. Crystal clear nothing but turtles and a little grass. Can wade across and only waste deep in the deepest part. Anyway hit me up.

Tuning that boat is probably not easy. You can't prop up like a normal boat or put crazy rpm on it. Maybe the nozzle and/or other impeller??? 🤔

The jet boat would’ve been nice if they stamped the bottom, hull out of aluminum, but then I guess they wouldn’t make no money selling replacements
