I adore this serum. Keep using it since almost 2 months and my dark spots on the forehead and cheeks are so much much less visible. I use it under the SPF during the day. Smell is very mild and pleasant (I bought it in Poland), also no irritation. I love this product. I was also using the previous version of this serum a year ago and was very satisfied with the results.

I don’t know why they keep using horrible fragrances in their serums. It’s never a light scent that provides a sensory experience. It’s always very headache inducing, I end up returning the products.

Thank you for the review Dr. Dray! I have been using this serum for about 6 weeks now and I notice a big difference in the over all texture of my skin. It is becoming ever so smooth and even. The product has not been irritating in any way, the fragrance is tolerable, and it plays well with other actives. My two sun spots are still visible but I believe it takes around two months to see a difference. I am very happy with this serum as I've noticed positive changes. I have already purchased a second bottle. I really love it.

Thanks for this review. I have been using the serum for 3 weeks and I do see an improvement on my dark spots that even my daughter notices. I couldn’t stand the fragrance the first couple of days but it seems to be less strong after the headspace has a chance to vent out. Looked up the structure of 2-MNG and the SH group might be the reason they included fragrance. The molecule also remind me of cysteamine—SH and NH2 groups.

I have just finished my first bottle of this serum, used it twice a day. The strong smell was a little irritating at first, but I persisted and after 8 weeks noticed a significant improvement with my dark spots.

The red dye and fragrance in this product has me graciously backing away. I have been grateful to not struggle with dark spots on my fair skin. I started using sunblock/hats/sunglasses at age 18 and have never looked back. I have had great success at (now age 55) with Vitamin C serum/tretinoin/The Ordinary resveratrol/marine hylauronics/COSRX snail mucin/glycolic acid/red light mask/derma roller.

the serum is quite expensive in italy, but i managed to get my hands on a few free samples and two weeks were enough to notice brighter skin, less redness and less pimples. it was so good they convinced me to spend money on it. also, the l'oreal bright reveal serum sold in europe has melasyl and lha as well so it may be a cheaper alternative

I tried several products, only Mela B3 worked on my skin which was hyperpigmented, uneven skin colour on forhead, around lips.. Highly recommended..Love this product❤

I have been using both of these products for the past two months and have seen significant improvements in my hyperpigmentation on my sensitive brown skin I also use a second sunscreen that is tinted and higher spf it is a game changer.

I've been using the SPF! I enjoy it. I get irritated by niacinamide so I won't use the serum, but the SPF says it's 5% niacinamide so I can tolerate it. I also believe it's 0.5% Melasyl - it's the same base formula as the Kihels Auto-Tone Discoloration & UV Solution (released like a week or two ago) and that formula mentions the %.

I am on my third bottle of this serum and it really works wonders for me. Mind you that niacinamide serum of the same brand is totally useless for me
