Students to wear Jalur Gemilang badge from April 21

All public school students are required to wear the national flag Jalur Gemilang badge on their school uniforms starting April 21, aimed at promoting patriotism and national resilience.

A circular issued on March 24 by Education Director General Azman Adnan stated that students must wear the badge displaying the national flag on the right side of their chest.

This requirement applies to students in government schools, government-aided schools, matriculation colleges, and teacher training institutes.

Other educational institutions are also encouraged to adopt the practice.

The guidelines, aimed at promoting patriotism, strengthening unity, and reinforcing national identity, were approved by the Cabinet on February 14.

Staff Kementerian Pendidikan, staff Jabatan Pendidikan, lecturer, tutor, staff at Public Universities should and must stick this national flag badge. The Education Director General, Education Minister must wear first. Is this national flag badge given for free? If not free how much it cost multiply number of student. Who print this badge, what is the cost, what about the tender process? Which company received the award to print the badge? Of course there will be commission to the person who award the job. Is it something like "Keluarga Malaysia"? Whose idea is this. This people have nothing to do and create something to do. Kalau tak ada apanak bat hangpa pi le baca Al Quran, selawat, tasbih, tahlil, tadarus dan banyaklagi amalan boleh buat. The government want to promote patriotism? Look at the foreigner in Malaysia be it Indonesian, Nepalis, Bangladeshi, Pakistani and so on. This Malaysia now become rojak, pasembor already. Malaysia already become multi ethnics country. Now we look at survival rather than patriotism. I do not know what to say and what to write. These people are nonsense, ridiculous, bullshit and brain drain. The people want lower fuel price, lower living cost, people want EPF money for those who are not working etc. This I say idiot idea will incur additional cost to parent.
