Beautiful art work. Loved the Unwaxed Deli Paper idea and also using it to sketch over the paper onto wet paint leaving a design from the under painting color as well as another collage piece on the Deli Paper. Great idea.

Love the video Jacqui, it's exactly what I was hoping to find, both from what materials you use for the collage element & how you use them! Also your painting style & philosophy, especially with the chance element, are very refreshing & informative. I am transitioning, somewhat, from a heavy mixed media collage emphasis to a more painterly themed work, but I want to maintain certain elements of collage, when effective or needed. You have a very easy, relaxed presence in your instruction!

Liked others commenting here, I love the method you use. I use a lot of gel plate pieces but I work over them, using them as a starting point for intuitive painting. I haven’t torn them up and used them in this way.. So, I’m going to.get my.mono prints out and use them as collage in my paintings 😅 . Many thanks
