I bought the rethreading kit last week. My personal policy, for a lack of a better word, is to buy tools when I need them and didn't think I could justify the expense of the kit without having an immediate need. Well, I had a need. Now that I have it, can't believe that I waited this long. I work on and restore/refurbish vintage machinery. Have a decent stock of period hardware. Just now I did 4 carriage bolts from 1939 to go on a drill press that's almost finished. Obviously, the machine is also from 1939; all of the hardware is original. I restore every nut and bolt. To my eye, new hardware sticks out like a sore thumb on a vintage piece, and period hardware isn't cheap at all if one were to buy it. The Lang kit is literally paying for itself. A fantastic tool!

I have that SNAP-ON 48pc Set but honestly speaking I still yet to use it do to me out right knowing that it is rebranded and can be obtained for a whole lot cheaper but unfortunately during the time when I picked it up from off the truck I needed it on standby during the week I picked it up do to I came across a few jobs that were previously done by a few other Technicians were that they cross threaded and never reported it and the work was sent to me after the fact which does not happen often on back to back occasions but during the time I just felt as if better to be prepared than not but I'm about to give it back to the dealer and pick up another set for Cheaper
