Rebuilt Suzuki Ts185 First Run

First run after the rebuild on my 1980 Suzuki ts185. New lower end, new top end, all new gaskets, new piston, rings, reeds, head, plug, oil pump, etc.

Glad to see this. Bought one new in the early 80s and road it daily to work and on trails on the weekend. Bro-in-law borrowed and left it outside unlocked. Bye-bye.

I had one of these in Red Got it part ex It was ok but never 100% faffed with it took it to mates & workshops Then one guy says I know what’s up It was a US import (in to uk) Some one had put the wrong headlight bulb in it Had to order the right one It arrived Fitted it WOW What a bike it was So fantastic Had lots of fun on it Then it was stolen Someone told me where I’d find it days later Trashed Wires ripped out damaged tank I was gutted Got it fixed New ignition etc ! Never really went quite the same as before 42 years ago Still remember the fun I had on it Today’s equivalents are brilliant & the young uns who ride are proper masters on them Unlike I was but it was fun Happy days
