China criticized Canada for backing the Philippines on alleged South China Sea sovereignty violations. On December 9 and 10, Chinese and Philippine vessels were embroiled in multiple clashes in the South China Sea. China said Canada has “emboldened the Philippines’ violation of China’s sovereignty”. Canada had denounced the Chinese actions "against Philippine civilian and government vessels in the South China Sea." The United States has also voiced opposition to the run-ins and sided with the Philippines.

China 🇨🇳 is an outsider of the South China Sea.
- The Hague Tribunal in 2016 ruled that China had no ownership in the SCS.

*The international law* is very clear on the South China Sea:
- parts of it belong to some ASEAN countries including the Philippines 🇵🇭,
- the rest of it is the international water,
- no part of it belongs to China🇨🇳 or Taiwan🇹🇼.

South China Sea is a Common home to many countries? But you are building military bases and intensifying your presence in that region! How ironic China! 😂

Historical background of South China sea since 1521AD-1898AD originally called "DE LAS ISLAS DEL PILIPINAS" during the Spanish "conquestadores", Bajo de Masinloc is the origin of Scarborough shoal, most of the islands within the West Philippine Sea were named after the heroes from 1521-1898.

China is mistaken to think that a small and weaker country like the Philippines doesn't have many powerful allies from all across the Pacific.

Correction: It is China who violates the sovereignty of the Philippines and nothing violation of the Philippines to the sovereignty of China... China has no rights to enter and grab the territorial islands and seas of the Philippines.
