I feel like this song and the original have a connected story, the first line in the original is, "Feeling all pressured by the peers and the media" which I believe is in reference to the person these songs follow the story of. He feels pressured to do things to impress people and get their recognition. This song on the other hand, is about a person who has had a change of heart after they met a girl who changed their life for the better, and if you look at these songs as if they're about the same person, it makes sense. I think the most convincing piece of evidence I found to support this is that the part in the original song, "I'mma put it down, Grabbing this crown" is directly referenced in this song through this part, "I'mma put it down
, Seeking no crown anymore" I believe that the term "crown" in these parts represents the recognition he was searching for from people who probably didn't even really care about him, and the part in this song shows that he no longer has a desire to get that recognition. The rest of this song tells us that the reason he doesn't care about that recognition anymore is because he's found what gives his life meaning, and it's more important to him than that recognition ever was.
