No words can express all Shabba Doo has done for the world of dance. I first saw him with his sister on SOUL TRAIN. Next I became an avid follower of the Lockers Dance Crew. After that I was always watching the movies Breakin, and Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo, and every program and video that had Shabba Doo in it.. I kept up with him these past years with his videos on the utube. His instructional videos and Face book, etc. So he was a big part of my life for a very long time, and I miss him . He passed on his dance styles and methods to the next generations, he wrote books, did clothing designs, he was a man of many talents and never stayed in one place too long.. the most telling words I ever heard him speak was the ones from the movie Breakin. In those words he told you who and what he was ..HE WAS, "OZONE STREET DANCER"...HE NEVER FORGOT WHERE HE CAME FROM... RIP MASTER LOCKER, MASTER DANCER, AND MASTER OF A MAN..

R.I.P. He was my husband in my head lol. I grew up watching his moving just watching him period. He was a kind person and loving son. He made sure he took care of his mom when she took I'll and was in the nursing home.. He will truly be missed. Everytime I hear it thunder outside I'm gonna think it's you popping and locking with Rerun. 😢😘💔

I LOVED watching the The Lockers! They will always be my favorite dance group! Shabba-Doo, was my favorite Locker! His dancing, along with the other Lockers, was simply "off the charts." A very handsome and talented man, who left us too soon! RIP Adolfo "Shabba-Doo" Quinones, and you will never be forgotten!!!

We have lost now 4 Original Members of the Lockers, there are 3 left. Toni Basil, Bill Slim the Robot Williams, and Leo Flukey Luke Williamson. They were my Dance Icons, Heros, And Masters of Locking.. Shabba Doo was the baby and youngest of the Troupe. I tried to keep up on all of the ones still with us every few week, checking Face Books, and seeing if any new projects were in the works. I know that Shabba Doo was always on the grind looking for new inspirations and trying to push ahead with his own projects.. I came across his video when he was letting us know that he had been down with the flu, had been tested for the virus, but was given a clean bill not having it.. I woke up with my phone displaying his name and knew right away what it was about, because most of the notices I get like that are about a death. I was afraid to open it up and confirm what I already knew, I started crying and talking myself into me being wrong and it was a hit up to me, because I commented on how well he was looking, he said he was feeling much better and had the flu. I wished him a speedy recovery and told him I was waiting for more information about a film he was trying to get done.. But I knew none of what I was thinking or hoping for would be true.. appreciation is what we need to show more of and talk more about. FAM WE ARE LOSING TOO MANY PEOPLE, MANY BE WE KNOW THEM PERSONALLY OR MAY BE NOT, BUT IF THEY WERE APART OF OUR GROWING UP AND INFLUENCED US AND BECAME A PART OR THOUGHT OF OUR PAST, THEN WE NEED TO APPRECIATE THEM.. RIP MASTER LOCKERS, DON CAMPBELL, GREG POPE, FRED BERRY, AND BELOVED SHABBA DOO.
PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS GO OUT TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS...
