Dad purchased a home in the Monta Loma neighborhood in 1967 for $20k. Today that same home is worth 2.5 million. Kids who live there today won’t be able to live there tomorrow unless they make six or seven figures. It’s a transient community if you cannot afford. The cool part about Mtn. View is that it’s ground zero for the beginning of Silicon Valley. Without it, it would be a very different world.
