I think it's a good practice to challenge your imagination once in a while after you've had enough practice with references and have a wider mental library to use your imagination based on it, that also makes the reference less of a crutch you always need and more of a guideline you can keep learning from but also do fine without in case you choose to go by imagination (already fuelled by reference based practice) sometimes.

I got Clip Studio paint the other day and absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it! My fave brush so far is the real pencil, I love the grainy look it has 👌😎👌
I also like that it has a SpeedPaint feature that records every brush stroke, so you can leave and come back to a drawing without having to pause anything.

I'm definitely the type of learner that needs to watch someone else do for me to learn. Watching other peoples painting progress is helping me so much more than just doing. Obviously I still need to do myself to learn aswell but watching is so important for me.

I usually think that Purple is associated with dark, vicious, like characters I couldn't believe that Sam could alter my ideals and beliefs in an instant.
