I stopped painting as a teen…I yearned to paint again but was fearful….it came to me like breathing back then especially in my very tough times…fear of not being able now had stopped me picking up my brushes . I’m 60 and God told me to build a pottery studio, I had never used a wheel or kiln. I took some hand building lessons for a year. Then my husband built my studio (after praying for him for 40yrs he gave his life to Jesus ) I’m now creating I’m throwing on the wheel and using my kiln. I want what I do to speak of Fathers heart for us, His love His call..I love the idea that creativity is God sharing His heart, Love and Will. I’ve no idea where or how I’m journeying but He has given me this passion …I trust He Will fan it into flame . I just love Gods passion to bless us reach us and just sit gently with us. Works in progress 🎉I’m painting slowly and loving pottery.

This was literally a word for me. I always thought creativity only lasts in my studio and bills requires another form of profession.

This is the first time I have had the privilege of discovering Jerry Lorenzo. What amazed me most about him is the fact of hearing him so humbly speak about how Our God is using him to change the intent on how we respresent Our God through clothing and how we view how Our God sees his creativity being used through us in so many different ways. This allowed me to see that what we believe our weaknesses to be, such as Jerrys inability to speak comfortably before people, Our God will strengthen those weaknesses to further his message. It might not always be verbally, it could just be in the gift of the creativity that Our God has placed within you, that will speak volumes about Our God. While Our God is equipping you behind the scenes and in the places you are most comfortable with, he will not only allow that to be a vision of his will in your life, but Our God will then also equipped you with the verbal ability, that you see as a weakness, to speak and to share how he is using you to further his will. Thank you for the blessing that allowed me to see all these things through this one conversation.
