A quick video on latte for one using the Faema Compact E98 S1. I still need to get the hang of steaming/texturing milk on this beast. I had a little more milk than for one person in the jug because I needed the extra few seconds to texture a bit better. This would be the fourth time I steamed milk on this machine. I think a little more practice and I could probably get used to the quick steaming. The rosetta art was not very good but I was quite pleased with the textured milk in the amount of time.

The shot was a little fast for my liking so I stopped it early. This was my fifth try on this machine and it needed a slightly finer grind setting (in between a step on my stepped grinder). I managed a perfect shot that was syrupy with a shot time of 28 seconds the day I sold the machine...sigh! Couldn't justify 3 machines to the wife! This exercise has inspired me to by a stepless grinder! I think I can justify two grinders to the wife...maybe.
