A SURPRISE adventure in Oregon AND Washington! (Astoria + Cape Disappointment)

For our one fun adventure in Washington (on the way up to Alaska at least), we decided to switch it up a bit and Adam planned two days of exploring. And the best part? I had no idea what we were doing the entire time!

The adventure started out with a (good) curveball and over two days we visited a new town, saw some incredible views, revisited a fav coffee spot, chased a waterfall, explored a shipwreck, camped right by the beach, finally saw a spot I had wanted to see for years, and checked out multiple lighthouses. It was beautiful, fun, and full of surprises (for me at least)!

I love watching your videos. One thing I have discovered. I was losing half the beauty by watching on a phone. Today I watched on a big screen tv and it was Epic! Imagine you’re my surprise when you hiked to one of our favorite places. My husband and I rented the lighthouse keeper’s cottage in your video. It wasn’t much more expensive than a regular hotel room and we had our choice of the bedrooms because the place was huge and we had the whole thing. Thee sunset, views and the wind there were dramatic. We hiked down to the beach below the cliff. It was terrific. Thanks for the memories
