Doctor Subsystem ASP.NET MVC

Good day, as we draw closer to the end of another successful academic year, I am proud to showcase my final year capstone project to you. This journey has been a rewarding and challenging one. Countless hurdles we had to face, countless yawns but we endured and learned throughout the process, which I am extremely grateful for.

Nevertheless, We were instructed to build a ward management system a breeze for our small community. With a user-friendly interface, It streamlines patient admission, medical care, and resource management. Think of it as a digital helper for our healthcare heroes. My team was required to create a system where care meets efficiency, tailored just for our local hospital. Together, we're making healthcare tech more accessible and patient-centric. Using the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), I have gone from a System Analyst to a UI/UX designer, to a Software Developer and a Quality Assurance Tester lol, which exposed me to different areas of the development lifecycle.

In this video, I am only displaying the Administrator Subsystem (Which was a group effort) and Doctor-Patient Subsystem (Which were assigned to me). Subsystems that is not included is the Patient Care Subsystem, Patient Management Subsystem, and the Consumables & Script Management Subsystem

1. The Administrator subsystem stands at the core of the WARD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM and oversees all crucial operational aspects. The subsystem also manages the rooms in a ward and efficiently manages various healthcare employees, including Nurses, Doctors, Nursing Sisters, Admission Clerks, etc. It also manages consumables, medication, allergies, and medical conditions.

2. DOCTOR-PATIENT Subsystem. This subsystem offers an interface for doctors to access and navigate patient folders effortlessly, providing a comprehensive overview of crucial information, including patient history, chronic conditions, allergies, medication, vital signs, and treatment details. This subsystem not only streamlines access to patients' data but also facilitates effective communication through the creation and documentation of personalized patient instructions. The system also allows a doctor to schedule visits to his patients in a ward. The Doctor is then also able to record instructions that the nurses need to follow. Furthermore, the system allows doctors to prescribe medication for patients. Once a patient has sufficiently recovered, the doctor can efficiently discharge them.
