You mentioned the aux output, but it's not an output. The AUX is an INPUT in case you want to add music or whatever extra sound.You didn't mention things like how heavy it is and what it's made of. Do you think it's solid enough to withstand abuse. Do you think The knobs are good or do they wobble like they seem like they will they soon fall off. Did you think the sound quality is good enough for a music video. When would you use the stereo as opposed to the mono, and how do you Implement different setups?
You can use an adapter to plug an xlr mic into a trs or trrs plug so the xlr input is just a convenience, or is it? What's so great about XLR plugs?
In my opinion it's a great piece of gear as long as weight is not a problem, because the thing is heavy. Don't expect much portability. You recommend this one over the less expensive one for the extra inputs, that you may never use. I bought one and it's definitely a quality device and built like a tank. I must say that there are other ways to accomplish the same thing, but for my money, this comica is a fantastic product and definitely worth every penny. I would get another tripod for lighter situations with less requirements. Tripods are not expensive so I like the idea of just leaving a setup and just plugging in the camera. Then you just switch the camera to the other tripod setup. The problem with changing cables and things every time you need your "other setup", is that one mistake that causes the sound to not work properly, or at all. You don't want to have to trouble shoot every time you change your setup. Thanks for the video. I hope you aren't insulted with my criticism. I mean it to be helpful, not hurtful.

Do you know if the only difference between the AX1 and AX2 is the XLR 1/4" inputs ? Same specs otherwise ?
