7 Places to Eat in Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville is a popular tourist city in the middle of Tennessee with an awesome food scene. Known for their hot chicken, but there are all sorts of other great food options ranging from BBQ to biscuits. Amie and I spent a few weeks there and here are a few of our favorite spots. Instead of Hattie B’s go to Prince’s it’s the original and the chicken has flavor as well as heat.

My favorite restaurant is Dalt's American Grill on White Bridge Rd. in West Nashville.

Mas tacos is my ABSOLUTE fav. The plantains drizzled with condensed milk was heavenly. I have to try that BBQ you mentioned!

One of our favs is The Wild Cow. It’s a vegan friendly place but not exclusively vegan but everything on the menu is super delish!!

Other great places to eat in the Nashville area:
1) pancho and lefty’s bar and grill which is across from Bridgestone Arena. Get the hot chicken or the fried catfish tacos.

2) loveless cafe. Their biscuits will change your life.

3) The Depot, which is north in Springfield. Their buffalo wings with HOMEMADE chunky bleu cheese are heaven personified.

Oscars Mexican Food downtown on Church is excellent! Avoid lunchtime. I miss Nashville.

I grew up in the Nashville area from age 10 to age 19 leaving to go in the military. Came back for almost a year and YES i visited often. This list was just not right..just didn’t do Nashville or the surrounding area justice. This is the first time I’ve left a negative review like this one. Sorry yet you blew this.
