All I want is some Icon pack support and more fun themes, and to be honest I'm kind of over the Material UI it's too flat and kind of boring, and we need much better and bouncy animations and transitions. Native camera support for Snapchat, Insta and Tiktok. And also newest notifications should BE DISPLAYED ON TOP! I always need to figure out who messaged me

Modes, Music sharing, and even dimmer are features that have been on iOS for quite some time now.
Good to see them finally being natively included on Android.

As someone who uses both iPhone and Pixel, the modes feature seems pretty great. Instead of having a separate section for do not disturb and bedtime mode and driving mode and so on it’s all in one place. More streamlined.

They need to make the messaging app more customizable, and the gallery app needs an update, so it feels like a genuine gallery app, and not so much just an editing app.

As a previous 6 user who recently jumped to 8 I am not surprised the 6 is getting a chance for another major update. At its core (outside of selling is AI features) nothing major has changed in Android since Android 12... At this rate the 6 would comfortably also get 7 years 😅. Here's to hoping 16 add a ton of features on device.
