If you are new to my channel you might not know that I wrote a song called "Dirty Hands" about a year or so ago, inspired by "Six of Crows" & "Shadow and Bone" book series. I'm a huge Leigh Bardugo fan and she has inspired me to write songs influenced by the characters in her books. I created the artwork to reflect the inspiration from the books. (I imagined this song about Kaz, but of course you can interpret it however you wish.)

It was such a thrill last year to meet Leigh Bardugo in person on her book tour. A life highlight for sure. Btw, thanks so much for all the love on the original acoustic version (which is on YouTube and has around 56K views).

For this version of the song, we retitled it "Dirty Hands (Gone Mad)" because it really is a different song (but with a lot of obvious similarities). It was an honor to collab with my talented friend Myra Gleason (co-writer) to bring this song to a whole new level. We were able to create a more sync friendly version with haunting lyrics & a cool dance beat which I hope you enjoy as much as I do! :)

"I'm the joker" - Jesper, because he never seems to take anything seriously, except Inej nearly dying

"I'm the devil" - Kaz, because, I mean, he's Kaz

"I'm a demon" - Inej, because she can move silently even with bells on her ankles, isn't seen by someone who sees everything, and is literally called the Wraith

"I'm a rebel" - Nina, because she was never your typical quiet, pretty little Grisha

"I've gone mad" - Matthias, cause that's kinda what he kept thinking as he worked with them, bonded with Nina, and killed wolves

"Don't try to understand" - Wylan, because he can't understand their difficulties and they can't understand his
