Being disqualified from being a director is a joke. These people get a family member or friend to be the director. Carry on running the company and screwing people over. They should be banned from being self employed, only allowed to be employed and have quarterly or 6 month inspection

Absolute jokers. Should be sentenced to at least 10 years a piece to stop others.

Why only a requirement for NICEIC registered company's only to download amendment 3? Don't you or the IET recognise NAPIT or the others?

If a sparks can't gets to grips with amendment 3 within 5 mins, then they needs to hang up his tools, it an amendment thats Long over due. All this amendment is all forms of breaks, mcbs, rcds, rcbos, afdds or main switches must be marked uni or bi directional, as uni directional devices connected the wrong way won't work as designed, now when you do an EICR, you will now have to check all disconnection devices are connected properly this will now need to marked as appropriate on the EICR report .

It not 5 to 10% difference between charging at home and charging at at fast charger in Norway. Charging at home costs maximum 1 kr/kwh and minimum 5kr/kwh at a fast charging station. More than 10% difference. Strange that the difference is so low in UK.

Just fitted a new Schneider lisse dimmer. So small. Could easily fit in a 16mm retrofit

Those little dimmers have been available for years over here on the continent. The best ones (here anyway) are made by Yokis.

Excuse my ignorance, my trade had none of these regulations stuff, but surely the main responsibility should rest with the worker to check he is safe? Would anyone go rock climbing or parachuting and not check their own gear? Your life depends on it. Not those with the apparent responsibility! You see it is not safe or to regulations, then you refuse to do the work. They might fire you, but you live, even possibly to sue them for wrongful dismissal!
