Towns is the only trade chip the Wolves have for the bigs. The Gobert trade was a massive misstep. Basically giving up 4 first rounders, Walker Kessler, Malik Beasley, and Jared Vanderbilt, and a pick swap.

They need to recoup that ammo so they can build around Ant. He's the real deal. Ant has top 5 in the league potential. He's the player you build around.

59:18 I think Duncan can still be a franchise face, even without the personality. He makes up for that by being a Good Samaritan, playing for the good of basketball. Spurs have always valued players with high character who won't cause distractions or taint the league's image. Three of the titles Spurs won were surrounded in some kind of controversy or league crisis: the 1999 NBA lockout where players and owners bickered over money, and was this close to a cancelled season; the 2004 Malice At The Palace with Ron Artest fighting a fan and fans worried for their safety (their 2005 Finals opponent was Pistons, a participant of brawl); and 2014 Donald Sterling scandal. I think of Spurs as a moral compass, someone who keeps the league in check, and Duncan is a representation of that. It's okay to have a glue guy as a face - maybe Sixth Man or something?

In my country we bring indoor shoes to the party if we want to have the complete fit as you guys said 😄 It still is chaos in the corridor with all the shoes there though 😃

That draft at the end may be the closest to a SQUAD episode I can hope for in the near future. 🙁

You know what would work for Jokic to be the face of the league? Put him on an Old Spice commercial!!😂😂😂

I think Shaq was face of the league in the late 90s - early 2000s. The most dominant player, NBA champion, very marketable, huge personality, fan favourite - what else to ask?

I remember when Victor and Zach Eddy played in U19, and people were bragging Eddy is 7'4. I was like - nonsense, either Eddy is not that tall at all, or 17 year old Victor is 7'5, because he is clearly taller thatn Eddy. It was hard to pin point how tall Victor his, he was obviously very tall, but he was playing against players I dont know, but it was hard to believe anyone that agile being 7'4+. But then 21-22 season started and he made Euroleague debut, I tell yeah, even back then kid was 7'5, he was towering over guys I know for sure were 7'1 and taller, just watching him next to Youssoupha Fall was crazy, he made Fall look short. I know that some North Americans still cant buy he is that tall, I telling you, he is that tall, he is freaking huge.

Italy is now super pissed and Bacnhero, lots of spicy comments and head lines, dude made himself public enemy number 1 in that country.

Jokic is nothing like Tim Duncan imo. Big reason why Duncan wasn’t the undisputed best player in the league and face of the league is because he didn’t score or assist enough. Jokic is far more of a scorer and assister especially in the playoffs. Jokic will be the undisputed best player for the coming years.

These guys can’t imagine the face of the league with a different personality. Imo he can be like a Messi. A guy that is somewhat unreachable and intriguing. Like people will wonder how he is. And his humbleness like Messi will be something that will be admired by many. I think it will happen.
