Nicola Sturgeon Resigns But What Happens Now?

Following pressure from all sides, Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has resigned. She delivered a speech where she talked about her career and some of the reasons for leaving the post. The First Minister explained how the death of an independence activist had also been a catalyst for her to go as she may be been damaging the indy movement. But what happens next?

As a trans woman living in England I have very little respect for politicians, Nicola has a great deal of my respect.
It's not just her trans allyship that has won my respect but that does play a large part.
I've never heard her speak and felt she was anything less than honourable & compassionate.

I may live in England but I support independence for Scotland (and Wales), the way Westminster & our Tory overlords treat Scotland like an wayward teenager that needs to be brought to heel needs to stop & I cannot see that happening if you stay shackled to us.

Tories are strip mining anything of value in the UK to make their mates richer, then when these Tories retire from politics after destroying the country they know these rich mates will return the favour & keep them on the gravy train.
