Allspark Logo History (featuring Hasbro Studios)

Показать описание
Allspark was an American production and distribution company located in Burbank, California, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American toy and multimedia company Hasbro. The company was founded in 2014. Its labels consists of Allspark Pictures (mostly for live-action content) and Allspark Animation (reserved, as the name states, for animated fare), while Cake Mix Studio was the company's Rhode Island-based producer of commercials and short form content. The studio derived its name from the AllSpark, an cube-shaped object from the Transformers franchise (first appearing in the 2007 live-action film) that can make any inanimate electronic come to life. In 2020, after Hasbro acquired Entertainment One in 2019, eOne folded Allspark, resulting in future properties using the eOne name. Entertainment One was later sold to Lionsgate in December 2023, a transaction that would place the distribution rights to the Allspark library and newer content back to Hasbro, who formed a new division, Hasbro Entertainment, in August 2023.
Hasbro Studios was founded on March 6, 2009 for TV development, production and distribution, with Stephen J. Davis as president. It was absorbed by Allspark Pictures on March 26, 2019 which was then absorbed by Entertainment One a year later. However, on August 22, 2022, Hasbro announced that it would sell most of Entertainment One assets (except for its family brands division, which has been folded into Hasbro) to Lionsgate for $500 million. The deal closed on December 27, 2023. In the same month, Hasbro created a new division, Hasbro Entertainment, as the successor to Hasbro Studios/Allspark.
