This song lives in me. The story, the lyrics, the melody, it seems like it was written for me. I had a 3-year relationship with someone before, he introduced me this song. I immediately loved it. I just didn't realize that I could feel all the phases and timeline of every verse. From getting to know each other, from being the safe place of each other, from planning the future with each other- it seems like forever. Until Pandemic happened, everything vanished slowly, even his promise, even him. He's not the one I used to know anymore; we decided to cut everything off because it'll hurt the two of us if we choose to continue.

After 3 years and 5 months, I can still say that he's still the one. But not the one I see my future with. I hope he's happy in whatever journey he might take. I am not hoping that we'll still be together anymore, but his happiness will always be my happiness.
