This video demonstrates how to install bullet nose wheel studs on a BMW.

Our new and improved APEX BMW wheel stud kits are the perfect upgrade for any set of performance wheels. We engineered these wheel studs with an improved shoulder design to eliminate stress risers that lead to stud failure in most other designs. These wheel studs feature a true bullet-nose race tip for faster wheel installs and a cleaner look. Use these wheel stud kits to convert your BMW from inconvenient lug bolts to stronger and safer wheel studs. These can be used with or without wheel spacers, and are easy to install.

I hate to tell you your recommend method of putting the tapered ends of the two nuts to lock together buggers up the threads at the taper. Even putting a washing between them helps little. It would be nice if your kit is shipped with two normal nuts for installation purpose so people don't have to go try procuring them. I didn't bother. I put the flat ends of the two wheel nuts to lock them together.

Of course with this I have to use two open end wrenches and cannot use a torque wrench to do the final torque down. I just estimated with the length of the moment arm that is the wrench and how hard I tug on it with my calibrated muscle. The precise torque of the studs to the hub is not that critical. The threadlocker does the job of preventing it from undone when you loosen the nut during wheel change.

Good video and good price/selection of studs. Most places are charging ~$180-200 with nuts.
