Got this game after watching Rahdo's play through. I got to say I love the game.
The artwork and the simplicity of the mechanics are a huge plus.I love how its all packed into a tiny box and this game packs a punch but leaves a small footprint. Its kind of a turn off when in other card games you have 600 cards but only like 20 different types of cards. Hurray 50 spearmen!

I'm looking forward to the expansion, Helionox: Mercury Protocol (currently on kickstarter). Adds more elements. Hopefully wont create a bigger footprint. Check it out if you enjoyed Helionox.

Moving to Mars would also have set you up to deal with the event there in your next turn. Since you score points from building embassies and stopping events from happening, why wouldn't you and Jen be more concerned about getting to Mars to deal with that event rather than letting it happen? Don't events have negative consequences? Why are you both getting rid of your defense cards when you need them to stop events? It just seemed a little early to start trashing your defense cards. If anything, if would seem best to trash the $1 cards and buy $2 cards, so you can get more money faster earlier in the game to buy MORE defense cards. Also, @14:48, Jen would only need ONE money point to move from the moon to Mars (see my other comment, below).

Thanks for the review. Do you think that the game will be release in retail in Canadian stores? I would definitely like to pick up at least one copy (but will probably get 2 for more players).

Gameplay sort of reminds me of Deep Space D6 with no dice SD6 is awesome. This game looks like a bore.
