What the bill was great at doing was exposing how much racism and contempt that t.p.m and their supporters have for non maori people.

Take note Australia, this is what happens when you give too many so-called rights to the indigenous people. WHAT A DIVIDED NATION. Having been born there, I thank God I left there many years ago (1980). I'm an Australian and proud of it. We are one, so let's not change it. Every life matters, not just black. Let's not let the indigenous or politicians divide us.

Politicians think we are their slaves and should do as we are told and not as they do we have to stop electing people who have never had a job or owned a company and have a university degree in art or cooking.

Maybe the best course of action would be to give all Kiwis a say on this matter by holding a referendum, what are they afraid of...

300, 000 submission to the select committee. 90% opposed, Māori and non-Maori alike. Australia wouldn’t understand. NZ society is very different, majority of NZers embrace Maori culture AND language. Unlike Australia.

*Same rubbish of referendum. Australians overwhelmingly rejected a plan to give greater political rights to Indigenous people. We are ALL Australians.*

This video incorrectly reported the treaty principles bill as reinterpreting the 1840 treaty of Waitangi. The treaty itself is clear and the treaties principles bill attempted to write the 3 articles in the original treaty into principles in the Act of Parliament. The issue here is since the treaty was signed a whole lot of unelected high court judges, government departments and civil servants have reinterpreted the treaty such that Maori have special rights over all other humans on the face of the planet. This is leading to a form of reverse appartide in NZ. Maori are stanchly defending their special rights and the the average voter is being spun a line by left wing media and believing that Maori were promised special rights in the treaty.
