Building HTTP Request Filters for Consul with Web Assembly Hub

Service mesh decentralises reliability and security to the sidecar proxy. Now service mesh can decentralise business logic to the proxy due to dynamically loaded WSAM filters for Envoy proxy.

WASM allows you to build custom plugins which sit in the network request path. You can do simple things like manipulating the request or handle complex authentication.

In this video we will introduce the new WASM HTTP filters for Envoy and a simple workflow for building and deploying them using Web Assembly Hub.
