This track is what finally got me to watch Made in Abyss. I’d read about it previously, but as a broke college grad never thought to bother trying to watch it. I saw a YouTube clip of this scene and was actually most struck by the soundtrack. That night I signed up for a free Amazon subscription just to watch it. I finished the whole thing in 36 hours and I’m gonna be obsessed with it for the rest of my life.

I've never seen Made in Abyss, but minute 1:54 to 2:35 is one of the most powerful themes I've ever heard. I'm on the edge of tears right now. That's the sound of a HERO! That's what I imagine sacrifice sounds like.
