I think Kurt also secretly enjoyed doing interviews. The man is very charismatic, and I think he likes messing with people and putting on a show for his fans. He has this look in his eyes while being interviewed that just seems like he's happy to get asked questions. I'm not saying he absolutely loved doing them and stuff, but I don't think he was against all of it like he wanted to come off as.
