especially for black car, i personally do a major wax (cleaner wax as base, and carnauba wax on top) once in two months, and i will use spray wax in between, so i basically wax my car every month....go to autogeek or meguiar forums, those folks are real nice and can give u good advices...maybe u r not as car crazy as i am lol, but just do whatever makes u happy man

Can you give me some tips on how to remove water stains from a black car? I was unable to move my car for about 6 months, and even though I tried washing it every week, it took some heavy damage from the sprinklers

Is this video a joke? Here's how to get the ultimate shine on a black car. Rub it with a clay bar, then use light compound and buff, then a swirl remover polish like ebony and then wax.
Do you want to know how to clean it? Wash it out of direct hot sunlight and dry. Then maintain it with an 'instant detailer' product like Mequiars or Mother's and you 'll have a show car shine on black or any color.

That sounds like me with my black 1993 dodge ram haha I washed it today and the sun kinda moved out of no where and dried the water up before I could finish washing the other side with that being said now I I have very big water spot that I can't remove sadly D, x

@theoriginalelzincho I agree, black does hide it a bit however black spots soooo easily when cleaning. Spots are virtually nonexistent on white vehicles making them easier to clean. I'll take white over black any day

@ProductionWorks Pressure washing cars while detailing them isn't a bad thing... As long as you use a moderate amount of pressure your fine.

P.S. - Pressure washing does NOT remove wax. LoL!

i hate watching people pressure wash their cars. Unless of course they're trying to get rid of the old wax layer. Soooo painful to watch...there's a youtube clip of a ferrari being pressure-washed by some in-and-out "premium" car wash, and that was their typical wash. so sad :(
