Community acquired pneumonia is one of the most common and morbid conditions encountered in clinical practice. CAP is the second most common cause of hospitalization and the most common infectious cause of death. For most patients with community acquired pneumonia, the etiology it's not known at the time of diagnosis. That's why having an excellent guidelines to identify the risk for specific pathogens, and recognize how to manage each patient according to the risk factors it's really crucial. However, when considering the patient in front of you, it's rapidly became's clear that guidelines can only guide.

Hi. I had a question for the case. The case shows non severe cap that can be tx on ops basis and that the px has no comorbidities, isn't it that we should only tx w either amoxicillin or macrolide or doxycycline? Thank you
