Greater Manchester lockdown easing U-turn leaves residents confused - UK COVID-19 update

The government has reversed its decision to ease lockdown restrictions in parts of Greater Manchester on the same day they were due to be lifted.

A COVID-19 spike in Bolton and Trafford had prompted council leaders to ask for restrictions to remain in place.

The region’s mayor Andy Burnham said the decision to lift the lockdown in those areas should never have been made in the first place.

Where do the 'stats' come from every day, how are they collected, who collects them, who diagnoses them....we seem to have lost perspective on the big picture and are simply emotionally reacting to numbers on a million screens every day...what does it all mean? If we did this for the common cold we would be in permanent on again off again lock-down for the rest of our viruses don't go away, we develop immunity....and Big Pharma's expensive vaccines will never replace that human immunity system...weaken it maybe, but replace it, NEVER!
