No one at that desk has ever worked with a toxic coworker. Let's say you take a team with 5 people with an equal level of production, and hire a dynamo with 20% higher production, but a toxic personality that disrupts the flow for everyone else. Those original 5 employees go down to 80% of what they use to produce. You would have been better off hiring an average level employee that works well in a team.

Maybe stop lining him at DE almost 90% of the time so he still has gas in the tank. His best year was his rookie as a hybrid LB blitzing in the Middle and stunts in the edge.
