10 years ago you could buy one of these for a song. A local dealer advertised 45000 off MSRP and used ones could be had for around 20 percent of original MSRP for a low milage, nice wagon or soft top. Considering they had at least a decade old engine and technology right off the line, there wasn't much appeal. Obviously something changed.
