Hi, mimic fan over here, here’s the lore of the book you’re in: you, isamu (lastname) used to have a brother, who died of an unkown cause, you decided to visit the island he disappeared at (Aogashima) to find out what happened to him, when you run into the monster of jealousy, the man you’re looking for is your brother, the main antagonist of this chapter is (i think) Enzukai, the demon of jealousy, the entire thing takes place in Aogashima, if there are any questions or things i should cover, please let me know

In jealousy II (the chapter in the mimic), i have some tips, as i played it before.

1. Chihiro
When you find her, you’ll need to find her multiple more times. If you find her, she’ll jumpscare you, then go to another spot. Jumpscaring wont do anything, and its not doing anything wrong. Im too lazy to write more so yeah.

2. Finding Notes / fireflies will guide you map idfk what its called

After finding chihiro the right amount of times and going to the exit, you’ll end up here. For me, i never followed the fireflies because i never saw them.. im blind. Instead, i just wondered around the map until i found all of them. Also, in this map, Mother will sometimes appear in front of you, she cannot move/chase you, but if you go to her, or just look at her for some time, you’ll get jumpscared and die. But to avoid this, you turn the other way and run away. She’ll dissapear and then you can carry on.

I’ll add more tips when im not so lazy.

Funfact: a few days ago they updated this chapter and made nagisa have a 2nd phase! :33 so its alot harder now! also the name of the 2nd phase is “Nagisa the Sea Serpent”

I think that giant guy with blue eyes is based of of a Japanese urban legend (even though every entity of the game is based off of that) but the Giant Dude is a Humanoid octopus that Japanese fishermen hunt. I forgot the name of the creature
