Dream Theater - Trial of Tears | Solo Cover

Here's my attempt at this crazy solo. After hearing this solo yesterday I got the urge to cover it. There's a lot of weird timing and stuff going on (which I obviously didn't' nail), but this is the best I could do at the moment haha.

This solo's ridiculous. It's such a different breed than a lot of JP's other stuff. I'd like to imagine fluid would be a good word for it, but it's also seemingly disjointed too... You nailed it though. Damn.

Great cover ! But I think it would sound a bit better if you used a whammy bar on some of the sustained note, to add that touch of weirdness that is so specific to this solo. It shouldn't be a problem since there is a floyd rose on this guitar! Still, amazing job as always, Travis!
