This was shockingly terrible and not because of the diverse cast. Not a single character made sense, none of their backgrounds and histories played any part in their characterizations and most of the plot points seemed to come out of nowhere and consequentially head nowhere too. I was so outraged I looked up the show runner and found out she wrote Riverdale too, then it all clicked. Ariana Jackson, you're a menace to society and an enemy of tv lovers everywhere!
