I remember going to Hong Kong (which is where this is not China as he keeps saying) during Chinese New Year and they had the most delicious limited edition barbecue beef hashbrown burger woth curly fries and it was SO good. They also had this barbecue chicken pineapple burger which was also incredible

so im from hong kong and i have never really experienced that big of an issue eating at a hk McDonald's.
idk if you have it in the us but we have seasonal menus that rotate yearly. the waffle fries and the kitkat pie are on that rotation. the kitkat pie is fine imo, its supposed to be like puff pastry but the lamination was shit so its probably why it felt like playdough.
also hk McDonald's serve chicken thighs ans drums. thats the ones you got. not chicken wings.

Most of the 'clips from china' is in hong kong and in hong kong working pressure is high so MAYBE their attitude isnt royalty service.
