I picked up some fish from a store in Mexico.

A few days ago, we had to go to Mexico for a Dr.'s appointment. While down in Mexicali, we stopped by the fish store in would frequent while living in Mexicali. I hadn't been there in over 3 yrs. They changed location and ownership. While touring the store, I spotted some fish I had to bring back home with me.

Those swords are very nice! I cant remember who the seller was, but I purchased fish from Aqua Bid that were packaged that way.

So what i heard from a breeder is that Lyretails are typically homozygous-lethal meaning that if 2 Lyretails breed their offspring are stillborn. It's better to breed a Lyretail and Non-Lyretail together. There hasn't been enough testing/research done on why this is but let me know how this turns out.
