I got this book not last Christmas, but the Christmas before that & I still haven't read it... The cover is beautiful, and this book sounds like a good story. I saw good things, but your's is the first review I've seen of it! You did a good job summarizing this book and your review was great, so now I think I';; try to read it over Easter Break! I didn't completely love this book, however, I really enjoyed reading it and it has stuck with me, so to speak. I'm thinkng about it long after I've finished it.

I found this novel very effective; disturbing, haunting and quite unsettling. But a worthy read, for sure
I picked it up primarily because of my love for fairytales and folklore - plus the added theme of book-love, hehe
