I’ll pass… I’m happy with my “coal fired” Toyota Camry.

Do you have permission for this footage? At least link the original video in the description so they get some clicks. :)

Not only are these cars over-priced, they are worthless after a while when the battery capacity doesn't give you the range it once had, not that it was much to talk about. Try selling it after 5+ years. It'll be worthless.

Lost opportunity... would have been fun to put a big V8 gas guzzler engine in it! Screw this electric shit... total carbon footprint for high energy to produce batteries, grid load to charge, and 1/5 the life span of real cars.. they are an environmental disaster no one is brave enough to face.

Why not just give the car to somebody is willing to throw 22 grand into it car is worth about 40 prayers somebody could be very appreciative

$22000.00 you wouldn't spend on gas in 10 years.

Considering ibuildracecars you should have just got hold of me I would have sold you one of my drag Motors you can put that in there would have been a lot faster than that electric piece of junk

Okay two things! First off do a 10-year-old Tesla with no battery you could have sold that thing for a pretty penny! At least you got some of your money back, there's people out there paying big bucks just for that. And second, you didn't do your research beforehand on how much it's going to cost to replace the battery? Considering how much the battery cost you should have known once it dies that was going to be the end life of your car. One of the thing you have that much money and you're going to buy a Tesla!? What a dumb decision.

He blew up his Tesla after its battery failed and he was faced with the £17, 000 ($22, 000) repair bill.

The cost effective way to replace petrol/diesel cars? 🤣🤣🤣

Seems possible that a replacement battery system could have been found 'somewhere' around the world from a salvaged Tesla or two.

If NOBODY purchased electric vehicles, they would all go out of business and no one would need to worry about them anymore.

But as long as there are morons who keep buying them, these EV companies will still keep making them. 🤦

THAT IS A $50, 000 😡😡😡😡😡

How did that Tesla get broken down like that, btw?

I understand replacing a transmission can suck like 8 grand out of you for a gasoline burning car, but I cant fathom why Tesla did not bother to look at repair costs for an already damning price of its battery. That's comparable to a keel beam on an aircraft, engines can be replaced easily like normal practice but if the keel beam on an aircraft has one tiny crack in the wrong place the entire airframe is scrap! It sounds like the battery is like the keel beam, better off just buying another car like a Mercedes, they last a good 20 years if you take care of them and a third of the cost of a Tesla!

There you go that's why nobody should buy an electric car cuz it just cost way too much and they're not a hundred to two to three to four five hundred thousand mile vehicle

Yet our govts want us to all drive electric cars. Talk about not thinking.
